Some macro images from Sri Lanka

Still working on my dissertation and therefore not updating the blog as often as I used to do. So, decided to share some of the macro shots I took around my home in Sri Lanka when I visited in July 2013. Honestly, this reminded me how much the winter in Canada takes away from a macro loving photographer and how many insects I must have missed for over 27 years of my life :) ... I was simply shocked to see what little mythical looking creatures were roaming around my home.

So here we go, ... All the pics were shot hand held and a lot of people were keeping an eye out so that I could go about my schedule and simply turn up and shoot. There are lots of macro shots I took while in Sri Lanka.. so might share them as a series.
